Carlo Fodera

Carlo Fodera owns and operates 10 successful tattoo studios throughout five NYC boroughs. Schooled in the old style, he has been tattooing on and off since the 1970's. His company studio "Enigma" is responsible for more than half of the tattoos done daily in NYC's five boroughs.

Studio Enigma has been featured in several publications, including NY Daily News, NY Post, NY Times, Tattoo Review, Skin Art, Outlaw Biker, Tattoo Savage, Tattoo's for Men, Tattoo's for Women, Skin and Ink, Skin Art, and Tattoo Tour.

Apprenticed by Tattoo Lou Sr., Carlo has been taught the ins and outs of building machinery and repairing tattoo machines, power supplies, and making inks. He has now joined forces with Tattoo Lou Jr. and his mentor Tattoo Lou Sr. For the last two years they have been developing Technical Tattoo Supply & Manufacturing Corporation.
